Passive Energy-No longer allowed to devastate Pocono Township

Last Week, I officially introduced a motion for our solicitor to draft an amendment to the Table of Uses, specifically to carve out solar farms and wind arrays as an essential service. After meeting with EPA Director Lee Zeldin two weeks ago, I learned that solar and wind can never serve as base energy sources,

they will always remain passive. The Pocono region was built on a beautiful, natural footprint, and as Vice Chair of the Conservation District and Commissioner for Pocono Township, I remain dedicated to preserving our wetlands and scenic landscapes that make us so unique.
